Exercise-based training with an experienced Emarsys Training Manager focuses on clarifying open questions from the self-learning modules and applies the knowledge in diverse exercises across the entire platform.
The amount of training depends on your service package.
- Duration - Depending on the module, the sessions vary between 1 and 4 hours.
- Level - Basic platform functionality.
- Format - This training is exercise-based. An Emarsys Trainer guides you through exercises that you execute in your own or in our Training account.

Prerequisites - Completion of the online learning management software and, ideally, the completed set up of the trained products in your account. This will enable us to focus on your use cases, account settings and your data strategy.

Basic package
This session lasts up to 8 hours and can be split into 4 sessions.
By the end you will be able to use the basic modules in the SAP Emarsys Customer Engagement platform to manage your data, send personalized email campaigns, automate these campaigns, and then analyse them.

Predict
In this session, lasting up to 2 hours, you will learn what Predict is, how you should use it, what it can do for your business, and how it works. The understanding of the Web Extend Javascript snippets on your website as well as Data sources like your product and sales data files will be the basis to create Mobile, Web and Email Recommendations with different logics and widgets.
Smart Insight
In this session, lasting up to 2.5 hours, you will learn how to use our customer intelligence module to maximize the revenue from your customers by automating your retention marketing.
You will understand the Product Affinity screen, including the sales breakdown for your top 30 products and product categories, and discover new revenue opportunities via the Customer Lifecycle Dashboard.
You will also segment contacts by lifecycle stage and and understand how to use those segments in Automation Center programs.

SMS
In this session, lasting up to 1.5 hours, you will learn how to create an SMS campaign from start to finish, how to include SMS in an automated program, to understand the SMS fields for opt-in/opt-out as well as the unsubscribe methods, how to top up your SMS budget, and to understand the reporting KPIs.
Mobile Engage
In this session, lasting up to 2 hours, you will gain a general understanding of the service architecture and the main components of Mobile Engage. You will understand how to reach your app users on iOS and Android, and how to differentiate and choose between the four push notification triggers. You can create, test and launch personalized messages and learn to use the reporting.
Digital Ads
In this session, lasting up to 1.5 hours, you will create Digital Ads audiences for the supported social and advertising networks, learn how to differentiate between strategies for retention and acquisition, learn how to include your audiences in the automated programs and learn interpret the reporting to measure success and improve your strategy.
Web Channel
In this session, lasting up to 1.5 hours, you will understand what can you use Web Channel for, how to create overlays, embed elements on your website and display short messages with ribbons. You will also learn how to include Web Channel campaigns in an automated programs.
Web Push
In this session, lasting up to 2 hours, you will create a Web Push campaign from start to finish, incorporating personalization, images, default actions, CTA buttons, test messages, etc. You will understand and create segments based on Web Push behavior. You will create and modify automated programs that incorporate Web Push campaigns and understand the best practices.
Mobile Wallet
In this session, lasting up to 1 hour, you will understand the prerequisites for using Mobile Wallet in Emarsys and create a Mobile Wallet campaign from start to finish, incorporating personalization, images, branding styles, etc. You will also learn to Insert a Mobile Wallet campaign on an Email campaign for distribution.
Loyalty
In this session, lasting up to 2 hours, you will learn how to create and set Loyalty Rewards, Actions, Programs and Tactics. You will learn how to create Loyalty segments and use Loyalty ` Tokens in campaigns.
